About the Wine Country Tribune
The Wine Country Tribune is an independent industry newspaper for the wine trade. Our parent company is Tribune Publications.
We cover the business of wine as a beat: markets and shipments, land and deals, harvest labor, hospitality economics, regulation and analysis. No tasting notes, no scores, no lifestyle coverage, just the economics of the trade.
Our standards follow the tradition of the Society of Professional Journalists' Code of Ethics: seek truth and report it, minimize harm, act independently, and be accountable and transparent.
We keep news and opinion strictly separate. Reporting does not take positions on the matters it covers. Opinion pieces are labeled as opinion and signed by the Editorial Board.
We answer to no interest but our readers. Send us news tips, tell us what we missed, and hold us to these promises, loudly, when we fall short.
